Well, I submitted two patterns to KnitPicks today. I figure, what the heck? The worst they can say is no thanks, I doubt they will tell me that I suck. Best case scenario, they like ’em and want to give me free yarn to knit them and maybe pay me a little $ for them. What have I got to lose?

One twisty edged baby hat, two lace-edged baby hats. I love this lace pattern — I’ve kind of avoided anything that required paying too much attention up until now. But since I’m in love with this pattern, I just want to keep using it. Knit in Pakucho organic cotton on US6 needles. (My new Addis! Woo!)

Another from KotE. In KnitPicks Merino Style…a little too wide to use in the way I had originally intended. So for now, it’s practice.

Grace’s coat. I kind of hosed the decreases in a few places, and the whipstitching leaves a little to be desired, but moss stitch is sooo forgiving. Started May 28, finished knitting June 2, finished finishing June 6. Knit with Bernat DenimStyle on size US8 needles.

Three-needle bind-off is my boyfriend. It’s fan-freaking-tastic. I love it.
